Working with Foundations and NGOs, Margaret specializes in strategy development, donor collaboratives, and leadership coaching with expertise in women’s rights in the US and globally. Her coaching includes work with mid- and senior-level managers and their teams to more effectively align high-functioning teams with impactful strategies. Consulting includes management training, team alignment, design and roll-out of philanthropic strategies and strategy implementation.

She served nine years as the Director of Gender, Racial and Ethnic Justice at the Ford Foundation, managing $40+M while leading global teams working on reproductive health, women’s rights, LGBT rights, and ending child marriage programs. Previously, she served as VP for Programs, American Jewish World Service and VP for Programs at the Ms. Foundation for Women.

Margaret holds an MA from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton and a BA from Johns Hopkins University.
