Forum Mulher
Forum Mulher is a women-led feminist organization founded in 1993 and based in Maputo, Mozambique. The organization raises awareness on gender inequality and uplifts girls and young women in the most marginalized communities using and advocacy-driven strategy.
Through Changemakers, Forum Mulher will implement child marriage awareness-raising activities targeting various stakeholders including girls, young women, community and religious leaders, and the local district administration.

We feel deeply honored and motivated to have been selected for Changemakers funding. This recognition reinforces the relevance of our work and increases our commitment to social transformation in the community.
This partnership with GFF represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen our interventions in preventing early unions, expand our community impact, and consolidate sustainable practices for protecting and empowering girls. The Changemakers grant will significantly improve our ability to implement community awareness actions, train local leaders, and provide direct support to girls at risk of early marriage.
Our dream is to see a community where girls grow up free from early marriage, with access to education, information, protection, and opportunities to fully realize their potential and build a dignified and secure future.
