Divya Mukand
Divya works in Jharkhand state in India, supporting our partner organizations to address child, early and forced marriages and related issues. Her work is focused on grant-making, mentoring and accompaniment, and capacity development of our partners in Jharkand. She also networks and builds relationships with other stakeholders at the regional and national levels.
Divya has worked for over 20 years in the development sector. She has nurtured coalitions and partnerships to enhance girls’ and young people’s agency and leadership.
Divya has worked in India as well as regionally in South Asia with organizations such as Oxfam GB, Save the Children, Pravah, Girls Not Brides and Dasra. She has a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the London School of Economics.
A people’s person, she believes in the power of collectives, collaboration and creative imagination.
