Arlene D’Attilio
Arlene provides operational and administrative support and grants administration leadership to the Girls First Fund. She works closely with the Operations Director and leadership to operationalize policies and systems that facilitate effective resourcing of community-based organizations in compliance with best practices.
As the Fund’s Grants Coordinator, Arlene harnesses her ability to manage complex systems, with a keen eye for detail, and extraordinary people skills to provide support to our board and leadership team, while maintaining and managing the fund’s grant management system. She co-leads in the smooth running of the team’s operations. This includes multiple facets of operational, financial, and administrative coordination. Arlene is passionate about improving processes through creative thinking, collaboration and inclusion. She also enjoys working within multicultural teams and taking part in gender-based initiatives.
Previously, she worked as an Executive Assistant with Geneva Global, and as a Client Service Manager with AXA Equitable. She was also a practice manager with the Clinical Care Associates of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she managed day-to-day operations of a multi-physician medical practice.
Arlene proudly identifies as a “radical disruptor in training” and hopes to help move the dial in de-colonizing philanthropy and advancing equality, freedom and justice for girls and women everywhere.
