Sakinatou Tiendrebéogo

Sakinatou is a student in her second year of science studies at the Faculty of Science and Technology in Errachidia, Morocco, where she is studying on a scholarship.

Originally from south-central Burkina Faso and from a modest background, she was supported from primary school onwards by a mentor who believed in her potential and helped her obtain several scholarships. Touched by this support, she decided to undertake an ambitious project to create a boarding school for excellence in Manga, designed to support bright and vulnerable students. In 2024, she participated in the Startech Africa competition with this project, which was selected as one of the best, and she received a certificate of participation.

As treasurer of the Confederation of Foreign African Students and Trainees in Morocco, she also coordinates educational and solidarity activities for the African student community, while working to create an association of scholarship recipients in her region to promote her vision of sustainable change driven by young people.
